GENMAX supplies bedding production machines for manufacturers of quilts, duvets, comforters, pillows and mattress toppers — the "top of the bed" product range that sits alongside mattress production. Equipment covers fibre opening and filling, panel quilting, edge closing and finished-product packing, supplied as individual machines or as a matched line.
Top-of-bed production runs on a different rhythm from mattress assembly. Volumes are higher, margins per unit are thinner, and product changes are frequent — a plant may run a hotel duvet order in the morning and a retail comforter SKU in the afternoon. Equipment has to change over fast and hold consistent fill weight, because fill weight is what the buyer inspects.
Many mattress factories add this line to use existing sales channels and factory space, since the customer buying mattresses is usually buying pillows and toppers from someone.
Open and card polyester fibre, then meter it by weight into quilt shells, pillow cases and topper panels. Consistent fill weight across every unit is the specification that matters here.
Multi-needle and ultrasonic quilting for comforter and duvet panels, in the working widths used for single through king. Ultrasonic quilting needs no thread or bobbins, which removes a consumable and a stoppage cause from high-volume runs.
Closes the perimeter of quilts, duvets and toppers after filling, with automatic corner handling.
Compression, bagging and sealing for finished quilts, duvets, comforters and pillows. Compressed packing cuts carton volume substantially, which changes freight economics on export orders of high-loft product.
Tell us your product range, daily output and whether you are adding to an existing mattress plant or setting up a dedicated bedding line — our engineers will configure the equipment and send a layout.
Yes. These products differ mainly in fill weight, shell fabric and quilting pattern, all of which are changeover settings rather than different machines. Pillows need a dedicated filling station because the fill is blown rather than layered.
Metering accuracy depends on fibre type and machine configuration; typical tolerance on polyester fill is within 【__】% of target weight. We confirm against your actual fibre before shipment.
Both. See our home textile production line and pillow filling production line for complete configurations, or order individual stations to fill a gap in an existing line.
CE certification as standard, with voltage and frequency configured for your destination country.
